Ax Trois Domaines

Just a quick word to say that Ax opened on Nov 28. Not all the runs are yet open but those that are are empty and snow-sure. You barely see a soul midweek so ideal for beginners and anyone of a nervous disposition! Pic above taken on Mon 30/11 when I had the Fontfrede run to myself. And day pass reduced to €22 instead of €35 because of limited opening.

BTW, the gondola from Ax to Bonascre is not running yet. You need to drive up to the ski station but the road is completely clear, no special equipment required.

Bon ski!

Nice photo Cathy.
Am not a skier but have visited Ax-3-Domaines several times and at different times of the year. Perhaps goes without saying but there are some fantastic views.
