P & O Dover-Calais "season tickets"

permanent residents look away now, but anyone who travels back to the UK regularly might like to know that P&O now offer cheap rates for multiple crossings. On the website, they advertise 9 return crossings for £27 each leg with other quantities "available on request". I have just bought 3 return crossings for £33 each single trip, better than the Seafrance rate which has just gone up to £39. The crossings must be used within 1 year of purchase but you can transfer any number of them to other people, with the proviso that only 2 tickets can be used on the same day. They are fully flexible, book your crossing minimum 1 day before. A £30 supplement applies for weekend school holiday dates.

We have just come over on the brand new "Spirit of Britain", large, bland and corporate but very clean and comfortable, a definite improvement on Seafrance with its surly service and even worse coffee!

Thanks for that! We're just about to book OUR return to France, and we'll be sure to investigate. Such a pain that LD lines no longer goes from Boulogne.
